Rіɡht now, I normally wear a 34A bra. Today I bеɡаn measuring though, аnԁ found I ѕhουƖԁ bе аbουt a 32AA! (I noticed thаt іn ѕοmе οf mу bras, thеrе іѕ unwanted space (I tighten thе straps аѕ much аѕ thеу саn ɡο. I hаνе a couple thаt kind οf fit though…) аnԁ I hаtе іt. It mаkеѕ mе feel fаkе. Of course, іt’s sad tο ɡο down a cup size, bυt I јυѕt want tο fill out mу bra, аnԁ nοt look Ɩіkе I’m trying tο mаkе mу boobs bіɡɡеr. Mу basic measurements аrе

Rib – Abουt 28 inches (sometimes I measure 29 fοr ѕοmе reason though.)

Bust – 31 inches (32 іf I measure flat around mу body.)

Sο whаt іѕ mу cup size? I know I саn ɡеt bras thіѕ size online, bυt hοw аbουt іn stores? I want light padding іn іt. Hοw ԁο I аѕk mу mom? I’m јυѕt 13, аnԁ hаνе never bееn proffesionally fitted before, bυt ѕhе always takes mе tο thе women’s section іn JCpenny whеrе thеу don’t even hаνе AA size. I wеnt up tο 34 before, bесаυѕе I wаѕ getting mаrkѕ οn mу training bra. Plus, I already ɡοt mу period. Hοw much more wіƖƖ mу boobs grow? WіƖƖ I еνеr bе аt Ɩеаѕt a B cup?

It іѕ ɡrοѕѕ nοt tο wear a bra іn middle school. I’m nοt flat. I obviously hаνе boobs, I don’t even know whу I measure ѕο small. If I don’t wear one thеу bounce up аnԁ down, аnԁ іt hυrtѕ tο jump, аnԁ уου саn see everything іf I don’t wear one. I need tο wear a bra!

Victoria’s Secret does bra measurements for free =]

You are not alone. Most women have no idea what size bra they really wear. They will just buy what they are used to and try to adjust. Listen to your mom and get professionally fit for a bra. Victoria’s Secret is a great place to go, and they specialize in all sizes. The first time you put on the correct size bra you’ll love it and never wear the wrong size again.

I’m sure your mom wont care. I went to Victoria’s Secret and had a bra measurement done and they are free. I’m sure your mom wont care because she would probably hate to have the gapping just as much as you do. Just talk to her woman to woman, and let her know you would really enjoy a trip to the mall with her and you two could go get some cute underclothes together :D oddly its sort of fun
I enjoy shopping with my mom. She’s a blast!

Well ladies have different bra size compared to children. You should go to medium lady size shop and check your size exactly. I don’t think your size might be 34 at the age of 13 that also. I am 17 and my bra size is just 34 too……..

i would go smaller in size just for the fact that its may be more cofertable AA32 is your size and you should go for wal mart bras( i kno cheap and ugly) but nobody should be lookin anyway at 13 yrs old. You can also go to sears and kohls 4 bras

  7. SecretSquirrel Says:

Your measurements sound pretty good. Are you measuring with your good fitting bra on? You will also get a better measurement if your mom measures you with your arms down by your sides.

I am a small cup size also & I love Victoria’s secret very sexy bra they are lightly padded with gel and are very comfy.. I usually buy when they go on sale for $19.99. They also measure you for your bra size. Try it! Good Luck!

P.S. Very sexy plunge bra is good too it gives you a nice lift.

Have your mother take you to Victoria’s Secret for sizing. If she does not want to go there, check the lingerie departments at the better department stores – sometimes they offer sizing as well.

At 13, you are still developing, so chances are that your breasts will get bigger. It’s hard to say how much more – but look to your mother and aunt’s and that can give you some indication.

Yeah go to Victoria’s Secret! They’ll measure you and they have AA’s there…Even more of a reason to go there is because their bras run small so that way eventhough you might technically be a 32AA, you can wear their 34A! I usually am able to get 1 or 2 sizes bigger there and I think they do it for a self-esteem boost, but hey that works for me!! Oh, and also your boobs will def. keep growing! 13 is when your boobs are just starting to grow…mine grew pretty fast…i started out at about 34A or so at 13 and w/in a year or 2 had jumped up to a 36C! so just be patient! :) …and go to VS in the meantime!

You should explain to your mom that your bras don’t fit properly and if you pull the straps to tight they hurt and still don’t fit properly.

Ask her if the both of you could go to a professional fitter and be properly sized so you don’t feel so self- conscience in school or have to be readjusting your clothing all the time.

Maybe in the fitting room you can explain to the fitter what you would like to achieve from your new look.

hope this helps. good luck and enjoy.

yaa you will grow girll i promise i was your size when i was your age and now I’m 16 and wear a 34C.
umm, go to victoria secret and theyy will fit you and show you the diff varieties you can choose from.
it will be really awkward when they measure but in the end you;ll be happy you did it because you will have a bra your comfortable in.
goodluck girl, hope i helped. :)

My best friend always has difficulty finding the right bra size because of these exact reasons…. But she was at her peek in size, because she was a little older.

I find it hard to believe that it would hurt to jump around if you’re a size AA. Is there anyway that that’s inaccurate?

Most women (from my Oprah experience) were all in bras that were WAY too small for them.

“-Bend deeply at the waist before fastening your bra—this automatically centers it and distributes the volume evenly. Straps should neither fall down nor dig into your shoulders (they ought to provide only 10 percent of your support—the rest comes from the band).
-Buy a size that fits you very closely—it may even feel a bit tight at first—when fastened on the first (loosest) hook. This will enable you to tighten the bra over time as the material stretches out. Make sure that the band is perfectly horizontal on your body.
-Fix minor puckering in the cups by smoothing down and “tucking in” your breasts. Fit check: If there’s a major gap between bra and body, the cup’s too big; if you’re overflowing the top or sides, it’s too shallow.”

Because you are only 13, I’d definitely just buy a few bras (don’t go crazy and stress too much about this) because your body is still growing and developing.
Remember to try on everything and make sure that you’re comfortable with what you finally do purchase.
Take a friend and spend a day just trying on bras, it’ll be fun! =]

From one small-breasted girl to another, I completely understand.

First of all, You’re only 13 and have several growing years ahead of you, so you will grow and you will need to get fitted every now and again. Victoria’s Secret IS probably the best location to get fitted because there are so many stores. However, i don’t like their 32AA-34B sized bras…. including their push-up bras…. most of my friends agree, these bras don’t have a great fit or form.

Going without a bra isn’t really an option. It can be a bit embarassing at school, plus you need the support. Jumping and running without support is no good for your growing chest.

Check out “Short Stories” its an international brand of bras. I swear by these bras! -They’re really pretty, fit perfectly on a small bust and you can buy gel or water bras that will make you appear much bigger and no one will ever know. They’re really comfortable but a bit expensive.

If you don’t want to get fitted, spend a day shopping and trying on bras, you’ll get a feel for what feels right and your general sizing….try to make it fun! Don’t be scared… just check that the straps are adjusted right so the bra isn’t riding up your back.

    Good Luck!
