Its a common surgery, at 18 you are old enough to make the decision. Make sure you go to a qualified plastic surgeon who has experience in this procedure, good luck.

I think you should have some kind of health cover for it, because it is not a purely cosmetic procedure. You aren’t too young to get a ****** reduction. Go for it!

I totally know what your feeling, I’m almost exactly the same way.
I know I won’t be answering your question, but I totally support your idea of a possible ****** reduction, and I wish you the best of luck.

I think you are a perfect candidate for ****** reduction. You have lost weight and are at healthy number. Unfortunately the weight did not come off your chest. (I sure wish we could pick where it comes off
So at this point the only option for them to get smaller is by surgery. I think now would be a perfect time to get them reduced. Your young and healthy so you should have no problems with the surgery or recovery. If your ******* are causing you pain, then yes insurance will cover it. I’m not sure if they cover it all, or just most of it. It is very effective and the results are fantastic. Definately speak to your doctor. You need him/her to help in the process of getting insurance to cover it if the doctor says it’s necessary. Good luck!

Insurance covered 100% of my ****** reduction (USA). You are a decent age to have a reduction (girls even younger than you have had ****** reductions).
After my reduction I had NO PAIN! I don’t regret it one bit and I’d do it again if I had to.

If the size of your ******* are causing other problems like back and neck pain then you should defiantly talk about it with your doctor and your not too young in fact the fact that you are so young and in good health is better cause you will heal faster. And like mentioned in another answer make sure you do your research on doctors before you have it done so it is done right.

Well i say go for it, it would be better for you cause you wont be in so much pain with your back and neck, i know what you mean about buying bra’s here(NZ)! yes health insurance should cover, i’m glad your mum is helping you with this, it makes it easier for you as well!! good luck

Definitely get in touch with your insurance company. The pain you experience should qualify you for some money for this surgery. As long as you can afford it, you should go for it. At 18, ****** reductions are considered very safe. And I hear they are very effective. And it sounds like you would be so much happier. Good luck!

Insurance should definitely cover at least some of your operation, should you decide to go ahead with it – it’s not purely for cosmetic reasons, so I don’t think there’ll be a problem. You’ll probably have to undergo some sort of assessment before getting the operation to see exactly how it is affecting you. My sister had her ears pinned back a few years ago and that’s what she had to do, anyway.
It is a pretty serious decision to make, but for so many women that’s the only option. Definitely discuss it with your doctor and see what happens, and good luck!
Also, I feel your pain – I’m a 36F, so I know how irritating they can be (and I know *all* about buying horrible bras!).

Not too young, but usually insurance doesn’t cover it as it’s “cosmetic.” If you can get a doctor to sign a form that there is a need to do it, such as your back, they might pay for it though.
It is effective, they might grow again if you gain weight or something. And some surgeons are better than others, I’ve seen 1st hand **** jobs where the ******* were left uneven. So get before and after photos of the surgeons work, ask to talk to past patients, etc.

Hi Wabby, My ex sister-in-law had the same problem and she had a ****** reduction and it work for her. Her back no longer hurts her and she doesn’t look like she will fall foreword. Insurance does cover for this and if you are having health issues because of your large ****** you are not to young for the reduction. Talk to your doctor and call your insurance. You will do find and feel a lot better.

I can only suggest you consult your doctor. You have said in previous mail you are still growing. That will have to be taken into account before any surgery is done.
The bra issue seems easy to resolve to me.
a) get a credit card.
b) get your Mum to buy it for you.
I don’t have a credit card, so if I want to buy something, I give my brother the details of what I want, on his computer, fill in all the details, and then go away and he will put in his credit card details.
When I get the goods I just pay him.
I hope this is helpful Wabby Happy New Year, 17.5 hours to go.

I would get the surgery done and this could be causing other health problems but talk to your doctor and see what he says.

Well…if they’re causing other problems…like back pain…I think you might wanna go for it. Good luck, Wabby!!!

do not go for such type of ****** reduction which will harm you in some other way !! besides natural is always better !
please note you may result in some reactions or impropo functions in body at later stage.. just control your diet !!

My sister is 18. She is getting one. She is a size GG, and she still is popping out of that one, but shes’s too depressed to go up a size. You aer not too young. The only thing is you had to have stopped growing, or alot of people won’t do it. You have medical reasons to get it done. My sister also has back problems, she can’t sleep on her stomach, she can’t lift heavy things, and most of the time she can’t do things with me because I do sports and her ****** are too big. It is obviously very effective, and if you have back problems (you can always make it look worse then it is) the insurance company will most likely pay for it. Good luck.

Just keep what God gave you! Besides… most women want to increase they’re ****** size! Plus, guys with flock to you!
Good Luck and a Happy New Year!
